Clearpoint Ventures Managing Director, Dr Pavel Reddy, participated in the highly competitive ‘Pitch Night’, an inaugural event established through a collaboration with Life Sciences Queensland (LSQ), Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and the Australia Asia Technology Incubator (AATI), supported by the Department of Industry, Innovation and Science’s SME Export Hub Program.
The LSI Export Hub Pitch Night is an exclusive opportunity for some of the program participants to present a five-minute pitch about their business, technology or research, and how it is positioned to succeed in the Asian market.
Dr Pavel Reddy provided an in-depth snapshot of Clearpoint Ventures’ specialist services in R&D Tax, explaining how the Australian Research and Development Tax Incentive (RDTI) can provide significant benefits to both Australian and foreign companies undertaking R&D activities in Australia. Touching on how research and development is a critical step in innovation, and the R&D Tax Incentive is a driving force of innovation in Australia.
Notwithstanding the extensive local and overseas networks Clearpoint Ventures has fostered, panel members provided useful insights and information on how we could add to our collaborative network.
The event was a great opportunity for participants to showcase their business or service to a panel of esteemed judges and local audience from the life science sector community, as well as, some of the program’s Asia-based partners and affiliates who will tune in to listen, learn and support ‘pitchers’.
